Jory Fleming Rhodes Scholar

For those of you on the spectrum or raising a young adult on the spectrum, we know that the path to college can be a challenge. Surviving and thriving in the academic realm requires organization and planning, self-advocacy, persistence, and (gasp!) team projects.  My colleague and I have a book coming out this fall, filled with the narratives of those living the academic life, and from those on the other side (employed, happy, pursuing passions).  While you wait for that book, check out Jory Fleming:

Jory Fleming, a 22 year old student with autism, has been selected for as a Rhodes Scholar.  Learn more about his life, the role a bird played in language development, and some of his world views.
