We offer a weekly (currently virtual) group-Actors Workshop -description below.
Is your teen adolescent struggling with self-esteem, working through difficult feelings, and connecting with others? We invite your adolescent to join us for Actor’s Workshop; an interactive and movement based therapy group that offers adolescents the opportunity to process and work through life’s challenges in a unique and experiential way. Using dance movement therapy, Actor’s Workshop utilizes movement, theatrical activities, and creativity to encourage adolescents to build self-esteem and courage, explore emotional expression, and develop pro-social skills in a therapeutic and supportive group environment.
Focus is on social skills and interacting with peers. Clinician running group has extensive experience working with ASD.
Meets once a week Thursday evenings.
