Sensory Friendly Films in Fort Collins
Movie time! Kids like movies, but sometimes people with sensory difficulties struggle with the traditional movie scene. The movies are so LOUD! The theaters are so DARK! And you are supposed to be quiet. What is a family with Autism to do?
Living in Fort Collins, we are lucky to have AMC. AMC has partnered with the Autism Society to bring us films in a sensory friendly format. Notably, these are CURRENT films provided in an accessible format (lights are not so dim, noise is lessened, and people talk during the movie!). Given how loud the movies can be, I suspect that there are many types of patrons at these movies, not just folks with Autism!

Sensory Friendly Films
AMC offers Sensory Friendly Films four times a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (7pm) and Saturdays (10 am) of the month. AMC theaters in our area include Cinema Saver 6 (Drake and Shields).
